Good ideas are thoughtful, best ideas are naive.
For the past few years or so, I’ve been jotting down various ideas that I would have wanted to elaborate on at some point in time. However, for one reason or another I always tended to place away all these ideas on a folder that I would later organize and re-write. In reality, that never happened. Ideas collected dust and Mr. Time crushed their due date.
The Plan
I am officially declaring 2012 as a year through which I shall write more. These write-ups do not necessarily have to be perfectly-polished, though, I would like them to get there. Furthermore, the faster and thoughtless I write the more original and naive the idea is born.
I feel that the less I try to control an outcome, the freer the results — given I’ve loaded up on some good resources and references beforehand.
And I believe naive is good in this instance, because naive is not afraid, naive believes, naive is open, naive is innocent, naive does not pass any judgement, and naive gets ahead without even knowing it. I come to believe this is a solid way of starting an idea. Though, research and thoughtfulness may grow it up to its new potentially successful heights.
Idé will attempt to elaborate on these above mentioned thought processes and ideas.
Cheers to you – dear reader – and as the Irish say: May the wind always be at your back & the sun shine warm upon your face.
